Production Supervisor – Ready to Eat Room

You will be responsible for the packing and production of lobster at our processing facility while upholding all food and safety standards. The Production Supervisor, which will report to the Plant Manager, will be responsible for all shift operations. Specifically, the Production Supervisor will ensure that all tasks for their shift are completed, overseeing Agency employees and working with Agency representative to deliver results and communicate KPI’s.

Starting Salary: $75,000 and up DOE

A Production Supervisor – RTE Room has the following primary responsibilities:

  • Live and work by the Angies’s HEART Core Values; instills these in new hires from the moment they join the team
  • Leading the team to achieve daily goals, looks out for talent.
  • Communicating employees work schedule.
  • Concise and accurate data collection and data entry into production reports by EOD.
  • Keeps accurate Blend information for every batch produced for Angie’s Blend.
  • Health and Safety of the team; supervisor initiates Safety First culture.
  • Packing product to customer specifications; works with QA for verification.
  • Ensure production HACCP and Quality paperwork is completed
  • Ensure GMP’s are followed at all times
  • Upholds the established walk off standards
  • Remaining vigilant for areas of efficiency; generate 1 idea per week that eliminates waste and discuss solution with Manager

The ideal candidate:

  • Will bring a positive attitude to work every day
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (ERP system experience a plus).
  • Has the ability to adapt, multitask and take feedback in a positive manner
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Manual dexterity as needed to operate production equipment
  • Is dependable and has reliable transportation
