The Details of teaching in the Elementary School at Riverstone: School year approximately early-August to early-June School day 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM with expectations for Elementary School teachers to be at school from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Homeroom teachers collaborate with PYP Coordinator and specialist teachers Teachers assist with recess and lunch duty on a rotating basis Small class size (Average class size in early years; 16 in Preschool; 16 in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten; and 18 in Grades 1-5). Maintain online curriculum management system (ManageBac) Track and monitor student progress Write student progress reports and facilitate conferences Must be willing and able to participate in the full life of the school Expect to participate International Baccalaureate training before or during your first year Must attend all weekly staff meetings Must attend in-service staff development days Lead parent-teacher conferences and facilitate student-led conferences. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, working 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. The position will begin August 2025. This position is eligible for benefits.
