• Respond, diagnose and repair refrigeration, and HVAC equipment, (EMS is a plus) for commercial and residential clients.
• Must be good with problem solving without direct supervision.
• Must have high efficiency in trouble shooting and repairing refrigeration and electrical problems in relation to HVAC equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand schematics.
• Must have a working knowledge of EMS components and operations.
• Must have own hand tools, gauges and meters. Other major tools are provided by the company.
• Install air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
• Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an air conditioning technician.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 ft tall
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
• Must be eligible to drive company’s vehicles.

• Full time onsite
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
