About This Position
Seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable HR & Payroll Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a growing company in a fast-paced, small office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes ownership of their role, and thrives in a team where flexibility and accountability are essential.
This is not a corporate HR role — we are looking for a practical, solutions-driven professional who is comfortable balancing HR support, payroll processing, compliance tracking, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
• Process biweekly payroll and maintain payroll accuracy
• Monitor payroll deductions, adjustments, and reporting
• Manage employee garnishments and ensure compliance with all requirements
• Assist with ACA reporting and benefits-related compliance
• Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation
HR Support & Employee Administration
• Coordinate onboarding, E-Verify, and background screenings
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
• Process terminations and separation documentation
• Assist with scheduling interviews and maintaining job postings
• Help create and update job descriptions
Benefits Administration
• Support day-to-day administration of health, dental, and vision plans
• Monitor eligibility, enrollments, and open enrollment processes
• Assist in evaluating and maintaining cost-effective benefit options
Compliance & Operational Support
• Assist with Department of Labor (DOL) documentation and audit preparation
• Track required certifications, licenses, and renewals
• Support government-related reporting and documentation as needed
General Administrative Support
• Schedule meetings and assist with internal coordination
• Monitor systems, emails, and operational workflows
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the team
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel

• Experience with payroll processing (Paychex or similar systems is a plus)
• Familiarity with basic HR processes (onboarding, compliance, employee records)
• Exposure to benefits administration or compliance tracking is helpful but not required
