This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who can lead and elevate enterprise-wide benefits programs. You will own the design, governance, and performance of health, wellness, retirement, and other employee programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational strategy. You will serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders while managing a high-performing team and driving complex initiatives such as open enrollment, vendor management, and system enhancements. The role blends strategic leadership with operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and employee-focused execution. You will influence Total Rewards strategy, optimize program performance, and create measurable impact on employee engagement and well-being. - Lead the strategy, design, and management of enterprise benefit programs including health, welfare, retirement, disability, leave, and wellness initiatives
- Establish governance, operating standards, and success metrics to ensure benefits programs support business objectives
- Manage, develop, and coach a high-performing benefits team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, service levels, and performance while resolving escalated issues and ensuring compliance
- Lead annual renewals, open enrollment, and system transitions, including change management and stakeholder communication
- Monitor program effectiveness using data analytics and reporting, making strategic recommendations to improve engagement, outcomes, and cost-efficiency
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ERISA, ADA, HIPAA, nondiscrimination testing, audits, and internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with deep expertise in benefits strategy and administration
- Proven experience leading complex benefits initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of benefits compliance, governance, and risk management requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and team development
- Preferred: HR professional certification, experience in professional services or in-house Total Rewards programs
