- Define and drive the engineering roadmap in close partnership with Product, GTM, and Customer Success to ensure predictable delivery and business alignment.
- Modernize architecture and engineering practices with a focus on AI-enabled development, improved data workflows, and customer-centric iteration cycles.

- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams through hiring, leveling, and ongoing leadership development.
Requirements:

- Proven track record of shipping complex, customer-facing products and iterating quickly based on real-world feedback.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance roadmap execution, operational excellence, and long-term platform evolution.
- Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery processes.
- Background working with data-heavy platforms, large-scale ingestion systems, or multi-tenant architectures is highly valuable.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Strong leadership presence, direct communication style, and ability to drive clarity and accountability at scale.
- Experience in HR tech, compensation systems, or pay equity domains is a strong plus.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: 217,000–235,000 CAD annually, based on experience and expertise.
- Equity package allowing participation in company success.
- 20 days of annual vacation, plus paid sick leave and compassionate leave.
- Paid parental leave to support family needs.
- Additional private medical coverage.
- Remote-first setup within commuting distance of Calgary.
