This is a high-impact, foundational role responsible for building the product marketing function from the ground up within a fast-growing, technically sophisticated SaaS environment. You will shape how a complex FinOps platform is positioned and communicated to highly technical audiences, including engineers, platform teams, and enterprise buyers. Operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, you will define messaging, lead launch strategy, and translate advanced cloud cost capabilities into clear, compelling value narratives. This role offers exceptional visibility and ownership, with direct influence on product adoption, pipeline growth, and market perception. It is ideal for a highly strategic yet hands-on marketer who thrives in fast-paced, high-iteration environments. You will engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders to shape positioning that resonates in a competitive cloud infrastructure market.
- Build and own the end-to-end product marketing function, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for new features and capabilities.
- Lead product launch strategy and execution, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Develop compelling narratives that clearly communicate differentiated value to technical and data-driven audiences.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to refine positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Create high-impact content, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing assets that support pipeline generation and conversion.
- Engage directly with customers to gather insights, validate messaging, and develop strong proof points and success stories.
- Support analyst relations and external communications to strengthen category presence and market influence.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally focused on technical products or technical buyer audiences.
- Proven track record of leading successful product launches and end-to-end go-to-market strategies.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, product, sales, customer success, and external analysts.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a strong portfolio of marketing assets or campaigns.
- High-agency mindset with demonstrated ability to build or scale a function in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of competitive positioning, market dynamics, and SaaS growth strategies.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and rapid iteration.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to turn user insights into impactful messaging and stories.
- Competitive base salary range of $145,000 – $175,000, depending on experience and location.
