About This Position
Position Summary:
The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is developing an innovative Master of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies program designed to prepare future clinicians for excellence in patient-centered, evidence-based care. We are seeking adjunct faculty members with advanced expertise to help shape the curriculum during this formative stage. This is a unique opportunity to influence program design, collaborate with experienced educators, and contribute to the training of the next generation of healthcare providers.
Compensation: $1,500/course credit hour
This is a part-time, remote position. All remote work must be performed in a state in which the College is registered to do business which includes New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Florida, Maryland, Wisconsin, and California.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with program leadership to design and develop courses for the emerging PA curriculum.
- Create learning objectives, assessments, instructional materials, and evidence-based content.
- Ensure alignment with ARC-PA standards and program goals.
- Participate in curriculum review meetings and provide subject-matter expertise as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and student-centered learning.

Education and Experience:
- A doctoral degree in Medicine (MD/DO), Physician Assistant Studies (DMSc/PhD/EdD), or a closely related field.
- Relevant clinical experience and/or academic experience in PA or medical education is preferred.
- A strong understanding of contemporary PA practice and competency-based education is preferred.
