· Flexible schedule within the following shifts: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday – Thursday. 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM Friday. 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM Saturday.

What is the work?
· Create a welcoming shopping experience by warmly greeting guests and engage in friendly and genuine conversation throughout each transaction
· Ask open ended questions about the guest’s shopping experience and using those questions to assess, understand, and determine how to tailor your approach
· Manage guest transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system, including collecting cash and credit card payments, processing returns/exchanges/refunds
· Open and close POS, count cash, reconcile register drawer
· Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and neatly
· Answer phone calls and guest questions
· Help maintain a safe and clean store by hanging clothing, straightening display areas and clearing our dressing rooms
· Maintain supplies at the register
· Price, tag and steam store merchandise
· Inventory reconciliation
· Troubleshoot technology problems as they emerge
· Coach and direct volunteers in working with a diverse community of customers, donors, clients and volunteers
· Support volunteers and provide training when needed
· Ensure store policies and procedures are followed
· Notify the Store Manager when supplies and equipment are needed

· Experience working in a retail setting
· Ability to understand and learn database (point-of-sale) programs quickly
· High attention to detail
· Timely and reliable
· Ability to work both collaboratively and independently; be self-directed
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a timely manner
· Must be able to commute to Plymouth, MN to work onsite
