Commercial Plumber at Quarter Moon Plumbing Inc – San Antonio, Texas

We are seeking a Journeyman Commercial Plumber to join our team! The selected individual will be working at one of Quarter Moon Plumbing's many construction sites throughout the San Antonio area. The qualified candidate will be required to do installs, tests, and maintain plumbing systems in large-scale commercial projects, working from blueprints and complying with local codes. You will specialize in installing pipe systems (cast iron, copper, PVC), fixtures, and backflow devices, often overseeing apprentices and working alongside other trades to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within safety standards

• Installation & Layout: Install underground waste/vent lines, hangers, and piping systems (cast iron, copper, PVC, PEX) according to blueprints.
• Fixture Installation: Install commercial-grade fixtures, including toilets, sinks, flush valves, and drinking fountains.
• System Testing: Perform pressure tests, leak detection, and system inspections to ensure code compliance.
• Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret construction documents to plan pipe routes and avoid clashes with HVAC/electrical systems.
• Coordination: Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades on site.
• Mentorship: Supervise apprentices and helpers, providing on-the-job training.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.

License: Active Journeyman Plumber License.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of commercial construction experience.

Skills: Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, proficiency with hand/power tools, and ability to read blueprints.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift over 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for long periods.

Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Work will be done at active construction sites, frequently working on-site (commercial/industrial).

Full-time with potential overtime.

Required to have own standard hand tools.
