Host/ToGo/Expo- Job Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

- Manage and oversee the seating arrangement to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front area and host stand.

- Coordinate take-out orders, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging and delivery to guests.

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order details and modifications.

- Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.

- Assist in managing the flow of service by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.

- Handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone and in-person.

- Monitor and manage the waitlist during peak hours.

- Address guest complaints or requests efficiently and professionally.

- Ensure all to-go orders are complete and include necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins.

Host/ToGo/Expo - Job Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Basic math skills for handling transactions.

- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and reservation software.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Ability to handle customer complaints with patience and tact.

- Team player with a positive attitude.
