Are you detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional care? Bishop Gadsden is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician/Nurse Assistants to join our team in Myers Hall. In this vital role, you’ll ensure residents receive their medications safely and on time, while supporting their overall well-being and dignity.
What You’ll Do:

• Administer Medications accurately and promptly, following all safety protocols and facility guidelines.
• Monitor Resident Health and report changes in condition to licensed professionals.
• Maintain Medication Inventory by ordering and tracking prescriptions, including mail-order medications.
• Document Thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) and report any medication errors or refusals.
• Support Resident Rights by respecting privacy, honoring refusals, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Care Teams and participate in quality improvement initiatives and facility inspections.
• Assist with Daily Living by performing nursing aide duties as needed and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements: What You Bring:

• Completion of a Medication Technician training program with a passing score of 80% or higher.
• At least 18 years of age and in good physical health.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.
