Boat Detailer - Seasonal at Boater's World Marine Centers – Lake Placid, Florida

Boater’s World Marine Centers is hiring Seasonal Boat Detailers to support our Lake Placid team during peak boating season from May through August.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on keeping boats and marine equipment in clean, polished, ready-for-the-water condition as they move through sales, service, and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

Boat Cleaning & Detailing

• Pressure wash boats and marine equipment
• Detail interiors and exteriors to high standards
• Clean and protect upholstery, canvas, and interior surfaces

Buffing, Waxing & Finishing

• Buff and wax boats to maintain shine and protection
• Polish metal, glass, and finishing surfaces
• Ensure every boat is presentation-ready for customers

Lot & Team Support

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot
• Assist with preparing boats for delivery and display
• Support the service team with additional tasks as needed

• Must be 17 years or older
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
• Physically capable of hands-on work throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn — no experience required

Schedule & Season

• Seasonal role: May through August
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sundays off + one weekday off
• Saturdays required
• Full-time hours during the season
• Overtime may be available based on workload
