This role sits at the intersection of global pricing strategy, advanced analytics, and market access within a highly specialized biotechnology environment. You will be responsible for shaping pricing frameworks and generating data-driven insights that directly influence global launch strategies and long-term commercial value. The position requires strong collaboration across Market Access, Commercial, Finance, and HEOR teams to ensure pricing decisions are aligned with both scientific value and evolving payer dynamics. You will play a key role in supporting early asset planning through to post-launch optimization, ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing strategies across multiple markets. This is a highly analytical and strategic role that combines modeling, governance, and cross-functional leadership in a global, matrixed organization. The ideal candidate thrives in complex data environments and can translate insights into clear strategic recommendations that drive business impact.
- Develop and execute global pricing strategies across the product portfolio, supporting both pipeline assets and launch-stage therapies in alignment with commercial objectives.
- Define pricing frameworks, guardrails, and launch sequencing strategies to maximize global value and ensure consistency across markets.
- Conduct advanced pricing and access analytics, including scenario modeling, price-volume analysis, and international reference pricing assessments.
- Build and maintain pricing models that support decision-making at both global and regional levels, incorporating real-world data and market intelligence.
- Monitor post-launch pricing performance and identify risks, opportunities, and optimization strategies across geographies.
- Lead pricing governance processes, including global price approvals, exception handling, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with regional and country teams to support pricing execution, negotiations, and alignment with local market dynamics.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, HEOR, Finance, Commercial, and Legal teams to align pricing strategy with value demonstration and reimbursement pathways.
- Support business development activities by providing pricing insights for licensing, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of pricing tools, dashboards, and analytical capabilities to strengthen global pricing infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong focus on pricing, market access, or commercial analytics.
- Proven experience in global pricing strategy, launch pricing, or advanced pricing analytics in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of global reimbursement systems, payer dynamics, and market access frameworks.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with pricing models, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, actionable strategic insights for senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional and global teams.
- High business acumen with the ability to connect pricing strategy to broader commercial and clinical value.
- Preferred experience in oncology, specialty therapeutics, or complex global launch environments.
- Familiarity with HTA processes, international reference pricing, and global access pathways is highly desirable.
- Competitive base salary range between $177,000 and $221,000 USD.
