Elaine Sterling Institute is seeking a results-driven Admissions Recruiter to actively generate, develop, and convert prospective student leads into enrolled students. This role is centered on building a strong and consistent pipeline through both direct outreach and community partnerships.
As a key member of the Admissions team, you will connect with prospective students and their influencers, guide them toward career opportunities in the spa and wellness industry, and drive enrollment growth. Success in this role requires a proactive, relationship-focused professional who thrives in outreach, recruiting, and closing while delivering a high-touch, service-driven experience that reflects the ESI brand.
About the role
- Proactively recruit prospective students through outbound calls, texts, emails, digital leads, and in-person engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, career coaches, and educators to generate ongoing referral pipelines
- Conduct regular outreach to local high schools through campus visits, presentations, and events
- Coordinate and host campus tours for prospective students
- Represent ESI at college fairs, career days, and community events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective students through strategic partnerships and outreach efforts
- Plan and execute events by coordinating logistics and vendor partnerships, consistently increasing attendance while maintaining budget targets and delivering high-quality experiences
- Educate students and key influencers (parents, counselors, teachers) on career opportunities in cosmetology, esthetics, and wellness
- Consistently follow up with prospective students to nurture leads and drive enrollment decisions
- Convert inquiries into enrolled students by effectively communicating program value, outcomes, and career pathways
- Build urgency and confidently overcome objections to enrollment
- Track all outreach activities, partnerships, and lead progress within the CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing to support outreach campaigns, events, and recruitment materials
- Meet and exceed monthly enrollment, outreach, and activity goals
- Partner with Financial Aid and Education teams to ensure a seamless transition from enrollment to program star
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or strong track record of work experience aligned with job description
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, admissions recruiting, outreach, or lead generation roles
- Proven ability to meet or exceed goals in a performance-driven environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking to groups and representing the institution in public settings
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads, partnerships, and follow-ups
- Self-motivated, persistent, and results-oriented
- Proficient with CRM systems and digital communication tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) strongly preferred
- Experience in beauty, spa, wellness, or education industry
- Background in consultative sales, outreach, or community engagement
