Application Engineer at WARRANT TECHNOLOGIES – Bloomington, Indiana

Responsible for maintaining the security, efficiency, and development of single platform software solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Ability to troubleshoot in a multiplatform environment to problem solve.

· Ability to use a ticketing system to input, update, and resolve assigned bug and features development tickets.

· Communicate in a professional manner with staff, peers, senior staff, and internal or external customers.

· Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment and to balance independent work as well as working with others

· Ability to understand and apply security configurations within a multiplatform environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Works within a team environment on assigned

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and be customer service oriented

· Willing to travel occasionally on company business

· Acquire and maintain additional technical skills for professional development

· Experience in script with Bash, Python, Java, and Perl.

· Able to automate routine maintenance and tasks via scripting languages.

· Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Environment.

· Experience with backend application frameworks such as IBM Cognos and Spring Boot, and middleware platforms such as Oracle WebLogic servers.

· Proficiency in Microsoft ecosystems including Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.

· Preferred experience in Cloud Applications such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
