Job Overview

Northern Pizza Equipment is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Delivery Technician to support our shipping, receiving, and delivery operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and being part of a tight-knit operations team.

In this position, youll be responsible for receiving and preparing equipment, coordinating deliveries, and assisting with on-site equipment handling and installation. Youll receive on-the-job training and mentorship to learn commercial restaurant equipment and logistics processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and check in incoming materials and equipment

• Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery

• Load and unload trucks using proper safety procedures

• Deliver equipment using company vehicles equipped with liftgates

• Assist with disassembly, cleaning, sorting, and staging of equipment

• Support on-site delivery setup and basic installation assistance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Generate shipping labels and documentation using shipping software

• Assist customers and drivers with equipment loading

• Coordinate last-minute deliveries and confirm order completion

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Valid Michigan drivers license required (must meet DOT requirements)

• Michigan Chauffeurs License preferred

• Forklift certification preferred (training available)

• Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred

• Basic computer skills for shipping labels and documentation

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
