Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and scale one or more of our SaaS products hosted on cloud platforms. You will be part of a highly skilled SaaS Operations team, responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance of production systems.

In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Support, and IDC teams to provide fast and effective operational support, automate infrastructure and operational tasks, and contribute to large-scale infrastructure improvements. This position is part of a 24/7 operations environment and requires participation in on-call rotations.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS

• Operate and enhance infrastructure components such as:

  • Load Balancers, Firewalls, CI/CD pipelines

  • Container orchestration platforms

  • Security, monitoring, and alerting systems

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)

• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD / Argo Rollouts

• Act as an escalation point for complex production and support issues

• Ensure SLAs are met for 24/7 production environments

• Participate in on-call rotations, after-hours maintenance, and deployments

• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code

• Improve system uptime, performance, and operational efficiency

• Maintain operational, process, and compliance documentation

• Communicate planned maintenance, deployments, and upgrades to stakeholders

• Track and manage work using Jira and related tools

• Collaborate with and delegate tasks to the IDC team

• Understand, promote, and enforce security and compliance best practices (e.g., SOC 2)

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps / Cloud / SRE Engineer

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including:

  • VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, ELB

• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) – Must

• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS)

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash)

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred)

• Good understanding of web and middleware technologies:

  • Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, HAProxy, and Elasticsearch

• Familiarity with security and compliance practices (SOC 2 preferred)

• Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
