Director, External Hub Patient Management at NS Pharma Inc

Job Summary:

The Director of External Hub Patient Management will lead strategic oversight of external hub service providers responsible for delivering patient access and support programs. This role ensures that vendor operations align corporate goals, compliance requirements, and high-quality patient experience standards. The Director will establish performance benchmarks, oversee governance structures, and partner cross-functionally to ensure the hub delivers timely, effective, and compliant services to patients, providers, and payers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy and governance for all external hub patient services vendors.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation and executive contact for hub vendor leadership.
• Define program objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor performance monitoring, reporting, and corrective action planning.
• Partner with Patient Services, Commercial Operations, Market Access, and Legal and Compliance to optimize hub operations and patient journey.
• Ensure processes and programs are compliant with regulatory, legal, and privacy standards.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with vendors to assess performance, innovations, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Manage budget and contract negotiations for vendor agreements.
• Represent hub vendor capabilities in cross-functional planning for new product launches or program enhancements.

Supervisory experience:

• Mentor and develop the vendor management team to support operational excellence
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing hub team

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and strategic planning skills in managing external partnerships.
• Strong understanding of rare disease patient access and support services, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy coordination.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing budgets and compliance-sensitive programs.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in patient services, hub operations, or vendor management within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Rare Disease Patient Services experience, highly preferred

The annualized target salary range for this role is $195,000 to $205,000; actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range depending on several factors, including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
