- Analyze and design secure cloud and on-premise architectures for federal systems.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and policy enforcement.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and policy-as-code (PaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Provide engineering and technical analysis for System Security Plans, Risk Assessments, and POA&Ms.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies for security vulnerabilities and compliance findings.
- Align security architectures with Federal Zero Trust strategy, agency directives, and OMB policies.
- Lead teams to deliver cybersecurity solutions, facilitate working sessions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Enable automation of telemetry and analytics pipelines to enhance cyber situational awareness.
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud architecture, or DevSecOps.
- Expertise in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments.
- Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
- Experience with network isolation tools such as Palo Alto NGFW and Juniper Mist NAC or equivalents.
- Proven ability to secure modern applications, APIs, and automated infrastructure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to brief senior leadership effectively.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technical equivalent; 13 years of relevant experience may substitute.
- Preferred: prior federal agency experience, ATO documentation experience, IoT/IoMT security knowledge.
- Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000.
