- Design and oversee the commercial property/casualty insurance and self-insurance programs.
- Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and insurance brokers to assess insurance coverage needs.
- Identify potential risks and advise leadership on risk management strategies.
- Lead insurance efforts during acquisitions and advocate for favorable contractual insurance requirements.
- Ensure alignment of insurance coverages with organizational needs.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU, ARM, or AU.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- High regard for confidentiality and strong work ethic.
- Experience with insurance policy forms and underwriting practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant computer systems.
- Remote work arrangement with minimal travel required.
- Competitive salary ranging from $97,100 to $145,700.
