Position Summary:

The Shift Leader atE+ROSEplays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store during their shift. This position requires a basic understanding of daily labor management, daily prep, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to problem solve. The Shift Leader reports directly to the Assistant Manager and provides support in maintaining a high standard of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure company policies and standards are adhered to by staff.
• Monitor and assist with daily prep tasks.

Labor Management:

• Assist with managing daily labor to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Make real-time adjustments to staffing based on business needs.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and address operational issues during shifts.
• Assist staff with problem-solving and decision-making.

Reporting:

• Report directly to the Assistant Manager with updates and issues from shifts.
• Communicate effectively with the Assistant Manager and other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in a cafe,retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
