THE POSITION

Join our dedicated team as an Infection Preventionist RN, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding patient health by implementing and monitoring infection control practices. Your expertise will guide our healthcare professionals in maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

• Option 1: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or a temporary license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner (RNP) in the state of North Carolina or an approved compact state. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Option 2: Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as laboratory technology, public health, or biology. Prior experience in Infection Prevention and Control, surgical services, and/or sterile processing is preferred. Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) is required within one (1) year of meeting eligibility criteria. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
