This role is focused on driving new business opportunities and supporting revenue growth through strategic lead generation and market development activities. The Inside Sales - Market Development Analyst works closely with Sales and Marketing teams to identify prospects, engage decision-makers, and convert opportunities into measurable business outcomes. The position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The analyst will track and manage opportunities through the CRM, contribute to campaign planning, and help optimize processes for efficient lead generation. This is a high-impact role that supports both new client acquisition and engagement with existing accounts, enabling the broader sales organization to achieve growth objectives.
Accountabilities:- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to design and execute campaigns, including webinars, events, and promotional initiatives.
- Identify, qualify, and schedule business development calls with target company decision-makers.
- Monitor and analyze potential opportunities, providing insights to improve client awareness, engagement, and lead conversion.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect and client interactions in the CRM system, ensuring smooth information transfer to sales associates and account executives.
- Support market strategy development in partnership with senior sales staff and subject matter experts, including generating leads with new clients and re-engaging past clients.
- Respond to inbound web leads, conducting initial needs assessments and guiding potential clients through the early stages of engagement.
- Participate in other business development and administrative tasks as required to support sales goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B lead generation or sales roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data and identify trends or opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present information clearly to managers, clients, and internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships across functions.
- Adaptability and quick learning in a rapidly changing environment.
- Practical problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and organization.
- Preferred experience in clinical research organizations, life sciences, or consulting environments.
