We are currently building our Melbourne crew for an upcoming immersive experience located in Brunswick. CrewWorks is on the hunt for customer-focused Front of House Attendants AND Front of House Supervisors to join our team here in Melbourne.

All staff are employed and rostered by CrewWorks Australia Pty Ltd. and allocated to venues and projects as required.

Front of House Attendants

The Role:

Front of House Attendants will be confident communicators with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest. You will support guest services, ticketing, venue presentation and daily operations within a high-volume public environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket scanning and entry management

  • Merchandise and on-site ticket sales

  • Operating POS systems and handling cash

  • Reception, hosting and customer service enquiries

  • Managing bookings and reservations

  • Overseeing immersive attractions and maintaining guest safety

  • Food and beverage service, including snack bar and basic bar duties

  • General front of house setup and cleaning

  • Supporting venue operations and safe crowd control

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in live events, theatre, exhibitions, or immersive attractions

  • High energy, professionalism, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confident and engaging guest service style

  • Basic technical and operational knowledge (e.g. POS, bookings, cash handling)

  • Understanding of health and safety requirements

  • Reliable availability, including weekends and peak periods

Front of House Supervisors

The Role:

Front of House Supervisors will provide on-shift leadership and operational oversight. We are seeking organised, calm and proactive leaders with a passion for motivating and supporting the crew. You will thrive in a fast-paced and ever changing environment and will be committed to leading a front-of-house team building a culture built on understanding, respect and kindness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage front-of-house teams, delegating tasks as required

  • Oversee guest flow, safety and front-of-house service standards

  • Coordinate on-shift crew and support daily operations

  • Manage customer complaints and complex enquiries

  • Oversee food and beverage service and bar operations

  • Ensure compliance with venue procedures and health & safety standards

  • Oversee incident reporting and escalation procedures

  • Support event setup, coordination and overall operational oversight

  • Complete daily reporting and necessary operational documentation

  • Assist with training of new staff

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • 1–2 years’ front-of-house supervisory experience (events, exhibitions, theatre, hospitality, or similar)

  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence managing busy and fast-paced environments

  • Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations, health & safety and service standards

  • Proven ability to supervise, mentor and develop team members

  • Competent in cash handling, reservations and event procedures

Role Requirements ( All Positions)

This role requires:

  • The ability to stand and move for extended periods

  • Light to moderate manual handling (up to 10kg)

  • Working in dynamic, fast-paced public environments

  • Maintaining a calm and professional manner in high-traffic settings

Conditions of work:

  • Valid working rights within Australia

  • Consent to a National Police Check

  • Availability across weekdays, weekends and peak periods

  • Minimum 3-month availability essential commencing March / April 2026
