Sales Compensation Financial Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Compensation Financial Analyst in India.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, fairness, and efficiency of sales compensation programs within a large, global organization. You will act as a subject matter expert supporting the design, administration, and optimization of sales incentive and commission structures that directly impact revenue teams. Working closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR, you will ensure timely and precise commission calculations aligned with business strategy and policy. The position requires strong analytical capability to interpret complex compensation data and translate it into actionable insights for leadership. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of compensation systems, tools, and reporting processes. This is a highly cross-functional and detail-oriented role suited for someone who thrives in structured yet evolving environments and enjoys working with data at scale.

Accountabilities
  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of sales compensation programs and commission models aligned with business objectives.
  • Administer sales compensation processes, including quota templates, bonus calculations, commission payouts, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales incentive results through compensation systems and internal platforms.
  • Analyze compensation trends, benchmark data, and labor market insights to support informed recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements related to sales compensation.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements for sales compensation tools and reporting portals.
  • Prepare and manage compensation-related reports, data extracts, and performance dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales compensation, financial analysis, FP&A, or compensation operations within a structured corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large and complex datasets.
  • Solid understanding of sales commission structures, incentive plans, and compensation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in compensation systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global teams.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
