About This Position
Design has the ability to empower ideas and connect people. At Baskervill, we take that seriously—and we have a lot of fun doing it.
We’re a multidisciplinary design firm with a growing global footprint and more than a century of experience shaping some of the country’s most influential spaces—from university campuses and civic hubs to luxury resorts and Fortune 500 workplaces. Our Education Studio is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Designer/Architect who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales.
In this role, you’ll move between fast-paced improvement projects and larger, more complex capital work for public and private institutions. It’s a position built for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to be involved in the full arc of a project—from early ideation to built results.
What you’ll be doing:
No two days are exactly the same, but you can count on a few constants. Including:
- Working closely with studio leaders and project teams to shape projects from concept through construction, contributing to design direction while aligning scope, schedule, and budget aligned at each phase
- Serving as the client’s primary point of contact, leading coordination calls, tracking action items, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Coordinating consultants across disciplines to align systems, resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving smoothly
- Executing the approved concept, reliably translating the design intent into Revit utilizing our firm standards
About you:
A great match for our team is someone who has:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an NAAB-accredited institution
- 0-4 years professional experience
- Proficiency in Revit
- Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365
- A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
- The willingness to travel, as there will be limited travel required
