About the role

The Field Engineer is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates looking to build a career in mission-critical infrastructure and construction. This role provides hands-on exposure to data center construction projects, supporting the Product Delivery team across the full project lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, project managers, and contractors, gaining practical experience in electrical and mechanical systems, construction coordination, and project execution.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day construction activities on active data center projects
• Assist with reviewing drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
• Help track project progress, milestones, and key deliverables
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment
• Participate in site walks, inspections, and quality checks
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, material tracking, and basic procurement support
• Maintain organized project documentation within internal systems
• Support installation and commissioning activities for power and cooling systems
• Identify and escalate issues, risks, or delays to the project team
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project updates

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in construction, engineering, or related field is a plus
• Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Strong interest in construction, infrastructure, or data centers
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced, onsite environment
