Adjunct Lecturer, TheatreThe Theatre Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate course during the the 2026-2027 academic year.

Job Description:

Fall 2026

THTR UN2023 PRACTICUM PERFORMANCE SHOW 2

This course gives students the opportunity to participate as actors in a departmental stage production while engaging in the collaborative process of theatrical production, supported by required research, critical reading, and related artistic work.

Pay Rate: $14,000

Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair.

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.
