CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This role requires an innovative and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable digital solutions. The Budget for this salary is $200K per year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Oversee program-level planning and execution within a SAFe Agile framework, ensuring alignment with federal agency objectives · Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, coordinating across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders · Monitor and manage program scope, schedule, and budget to meet contractual and compliance requirements · Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure transparency and effective communication · Track and report on program metrics, including progress, risks, and dependencies, leveraging data for informed decision-making · Ensure compliance with federal standards, security requirements, and governance processes · Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and impediments impacting program delivery · Support continuous improvement initiatives across teams and the program level · Collaborate with Product Management and Release Train Engineers to align priorities and deliverables · Provide guidance on Agile best practices and SAFe principles to teams and stakeholders · Understand data-related requirements and implications for program deliverables, ensuring proper integration and reporting · Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status reports, and documentation for leadership
· Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Mural, and Trello · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement · Collaborative leadership style with experience coaching teams and fostering self-organization · Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities · Ability to build trust and maintain transparency across technical and business teams · Skilled in facilitating PI planning, Agile ceremonies, and cross-team coordination in a remote environment · Basic working knowledge (i.e. ability to understand, speak about, and participate in solutioning) of the following domains: data science, the software development life cycle, data privacy (specifically PII/PHI), Federal data policies, the Tricare Military Health System
· Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, IT, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) · 5+ years of experience managing programs in an Agile environment, preferably using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Agile Certification preferred) · 5+ years of experience working with Federal agencies (preferably healthcare and/or data-centric projects) · Proven experience facilitating Agile practices across multiple teams and stakeholders · Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget for complex programs · Active Secret Clearance at the Department of Defense (or eligibility to obtain a clearance) · Ability to work east coast business hours (8am-5pm)
