INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST
Location: Medelln, Colombia (On-site) Contract Type: Full-time, indefinite term Schedule: Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week (CST)Job Description: We are seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our central team and ensure patients have a smooth experience with insurance interactions at our clinics. This role focuses on confirming insurance coverage and verifying provider network status.Responsibilities: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure plans are active. Confirm providers are in-network with the patients insurance. Verify coverage for home visits and in-office visits via phone or online. Communicate with clinics, insurance companies, and patients to gather updated information. Accurately document verified benefits in patient records. Respond to insurance-related inquiries from internal teams.Requirements: Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). Ability to operate multiple software systems simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: 1+ year experience in U.S. healthcare or insurance.
