Summary:
The Vice President, Vendor Management will provide leadership and guidance in support of vendor management related activities across the company and its affiliates. Will directly oversee the work of the entire Vendor Management team. Vendor Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to contract management, monitoring vendor performance, ensuring vendor compliance with regulatory entities, statutory requirements, investor and insurance guidelines, and vendor adherence to contractual terms. Will be expected to manage the personnel reporting to them and push their personnel for continuous development in support of the business areas they manage. Will be expected to assist in departmental process improvements and initiatives for the enhancement of Vendor Management overall. The VP will meet regularly with the vendor management team as well as business partners to help identify opportunities, make recommendations and help execute changes for increased efficiencies with vendor spend.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall program design and improvement ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigation of risk.
Consolidation of vendor management related process across affiliated companies to drive efficiency and best practices.
Strategic and analytical support for the business channels.
Review and oversight of vendor agreements, vendor due diligence, and vendor-related issues for the vendors.
Implement process improvements and assist in vendor strategy across the organization.
Production of vendor-related reporting to senior and/or executive management.
Work closely with business leaders to align a strategic vendor network.
Responds to audits and interviews from regulators, as needed.
Ensure appropriate technical considerations are addressed in contracts, SLA’s and acceptance criteria are captured. Lead in the development of standards alongside Legal and IT and assist the department in the implementation of the standards and the consistent maintenance.
Present to executive leadership team, as needed.
Lead vendor management teams at company and its affiliates.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree from a Four (4) year College or University
15+ years related experience, with vendor management
