The JOB:
The Group Room Coordinator must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
Primary duties:
Build Groups/Blocks in Systems
Enter Rooming lists
Assisting/pre-block based on requests
Send weekly rooming lists to CSM/client with attrition table
Communicate via email and phone with clients as needed regarding reservations
Attend weekly Pick Up Review meeting
Attend weekly Resume Meeting
Review Group Final Billing

Requirements:High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
Six months reservations experience in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of Outlook MS Word and Excel required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Group Sales, PMS and CRS systems including (Delphi, SynXis and HMS preferred).
Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Capable of using multiple systems at the same time.
Self-starter results-oriented team player and demonstrates a high-level attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic evolving environment.
