- Lead property-level financial strategy, planning, and reporting, delivering actionable insights through variance analysis, trend evaluation, and forecasting
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting aligned with GAAP and industry standards
- Manage financial consolidations and reporting for a large property portfolio, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Establish, enhance, and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
- Direct cash management and treasury activities while handling complex financial analyses and ad hoc reporting requests
- Lead and mentor Finance Managers and Property Accountants, ensuring strong team performance, workload balance, and professional development
- Act as the escalation point for financial and accounting issues, providing guidance and resolution across the portfolio
- Oversee revenue accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and continuous process improvement
- Drive finance-related projects, including automation initiatives, system enhancements, audit coordination, and adoption of new accounting standards
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve financial performance and support strategic business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA are strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles, ideally within hospitality or real estate operating environments
- Deep expertise in GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards, with strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing and scaling finance teams in fast-paced, high-growth organizations
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Excel and ERP systems
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Experience with remote team management and familiarity with tools such as NetSuite or Google Workspace is a plus
