Responsibilities
About the Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU)
The Cardiac Specialty Unit is an intermediate cardiac care unit specializing in pre and postprocedural management. Our team cares for patients with NSTEMI, active chest pain requiring intervention, and electrophysiology conditions treated with ICDs or radiofrequency ablations.
CSU nurses manage dysrhythmias through cardiac drip administration and titration, participate in bedside procedures, and care for patients with arterial access devices. This is a fastpaced, highacuity environment ideal for motivated nurses eager to expand their cardiac expertise and contribute to excellent patient outcomes. ACLS certification is required and must be maintained.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License
BCLS required
Experience preferred
