About the Role

As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of field activities in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner. You will provide leadership to the plumbing team while working closely with the Regional Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery and strong client relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting plumbers, apprentices and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service outcomes
  • Hands-on delivery of plumbing works while managing day-to-day site activities
  • Scoping, pricing and quoting remedial and project works to achieve agreed margins
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with contractual obligations, legislative requirements and company standards
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring expectations are consistently met
  • Driving continuous improvement, service delivery excellence and operational efficiency
  • Supporting health & safety initiatives and ensuring compliance across all worksites

About You

This is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise your experience in:

  • Supervising teams within a plumbing or trade service environment
  • Delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Pricing and scoping plumbing works (remedial and project-based)
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring service delivery standards are met
  • Working within maintenance or facilities management environments

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certifying Plumbing Qualification
  • NZ recognised qualification in Plumbing
  • Minimum 3+ years' supervisory experience in a plumbing or related trade environment
  • At least 5 years post-trade experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to support and guide field staff
  • Proven ability to scope and price works ($5k $100k range)
  • Solid understanding of building regulations and compliance requirements
  • Full, clean NZ Driver's Licence
