Med-Surg, ER, Telemetry Float Pool at Exceptional Healthcare Inc. – Ardmore, Oklahoma

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking a dedicated ER, Med-Surg Tech with Telemetry experience), to join our patient-centered team in a dynamic micro-hospital environment. This is a PRN (as-needed) position for the float pool that covers the ER, Med-Surg/Telemetry

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and physicians in delivering high-quality patient care
• Perform vital signs monitoring, phlebotomy, peripheral IV starts, and EKGs
• Conduct point-of-care testing and basic wound care
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Med-Surg unit environment
• Monitor patients on Telemetry (with provided training)
• Ensure proper inventory and organization of supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT, CCMA, ER Technician, or equivalent patient care role in an acute care setting
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current BLS certification

• 12-hour shifts
