Location: Fletcher, NC
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday with overtime on the weekends

Position Overview:
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Machine Set-up Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operating, programming, and setting up

various milling machines. Attention to detail, ability to work in small teams or independently, and mechanical aptitude are skills that will make a candidate successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adjust tooling fixtures for manual hob mills

• Operate hob mill grinder

• Conduct quality checks on milled parts

• Install and remove hob mill in a safe and efficient manner

• Mill changeovers will consist of proper alignment of mills, check water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections daily

• Troubleshoot any issues with milling machine equipment

• Perform changeover on machines as needed

• Maintain organization of hob mills and milling machine components

• Perform daily housekeeping to provide a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Must able to read vernier, digital, and dial calipers

• Must be proficient in metric system

• Needs to be able to report in ERP system

• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize accordingly

• Machining experience preferred but not required. Must have an understanding of basic machining.

• Candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

• Required 2-3 years similar experience.

• Must be physically able to walk/climb on machines as necessary

• Must be able to lift and move 50lbs

• Milling experience preferred

• Forklift experience preferred and ability to become forklift certified

• Ability to work overtime including weekends
