We are transforming into a trusted community hub that integrates local, original, and community-generated content across TV, digital, and live events.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our membership area.

This position will

  • Provide administrative support to help the development team meet fundraising goals.
  • Assists with donor cultivation and stewardship of current and prospective donors.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Tasks):

  • Execute donor-centric processes- gift entry, acknowledgement letters and ROI uploads.
  • Cultivation work, such as meeting member service needs and coordination of outreach with our Membership Manager.
  • Supports the Development team by effectively organizing, planning and managing multiple projects to serve membership/philanthropy team.
  • Work with multiple internal/external teams including Finance, MSB, Marketing, and Education on development projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Results Ownership):

  • Streamline station level gift entry and acknowledgements to ensure donor centric, timely and accurate service to our donors as measured by complaints and total membership retention. (Cultivation and Stewardship)
  • Assist with administration of matching gift program to achieve yearly budgeted goal for increased revenue generation.

  • Related experience in media or fundraising a plus.

EXPERIENCE: (Work experience, degree attainment, professional certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Nonprofit development experience.
  • Equivalent experience in an associated field will be considered.

  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, writing).

OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be asked to work longer hours and occasional weekends with short notice.
  • As you will/may be driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle for company business, a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as determined by a driver’s license background check is required for this position.
  • All team members must successfully pass a background check (7 years), FBI fingerprint clearance and PA child clearance.
