Project Coordinator - Generalist at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible and accountable to the Director of Project Controls or the Director of Contract Administration & Compliance or the Director of Project Budget & Scheduling of the Facilities Development & Project Management Division for the project coordination required to manage various capital projects associated with the implementation of the University Health System Master Facility Plan (MFP). Provides project coordination relative to health care, facilities projects, project schedules, and budgets. Responsible for MFP project coordination with contractors, consultant/vendors and hospital/medical staff. Helps ensure that capital project management processes and reporting enables University Health System to complete the MFP and other projects on time and within budget. Effectively protects the Health System’s interests in capital projects and, works collaboratively with budget and finance staff, ensures appropriate fiscal controls for capital projects for presentation to

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a project coordinator or supervisor is required
