Troubleshoot and repair production machinery requiring electrical and mechanical expertise
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring and pneumatic/hydraulic lines
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Diagnose electronic hardware issues
Read, understand, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen Bradley)
Perform lockout/tagout procedures to neutralize machine energy
Move equipment using rigging gear
Follow all company, state, and federal safety requirements
Perform emergency response duties, including:
Chemical spill response
Fire and medical response
Hazardous waste control
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate Degree in a related field preferred
