Maintenance Technician at RHO RESIDENTIAL LLC – Pomona, New York

Our ideal candidate for the full-time Maintenance Technician is a hands-on, safety-focused, customer-centric, skilled technician. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance team and assists in maintaining the physical integrity of the residential property.

Qualification and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade
• EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling (at a minimum Type I & II)
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to diagnose and perform preventative and routine maintenance or repair:
• Residential appliances
• HVAC
• Water irrigation systems
• Tile, carpet and flooring
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios and railings
• Interior and exterior lights
• Gas fixtures and appliances
• Boiler, gas and electric
• Door locks and security systems
• Gutters
• Ceiling leaks
• Customer service focused with strong people skills
• Ability to arrive at the site within 30 minutes

Position requires ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work their scheduled hours plus any other hours necessary to complete the job. Position requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
