About This Position
The Corporate Recruiter will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent across Hillendale’s corporate and operational teams. This individual thrives in a structured environment, understands the importance of consistency, and is energized by building repeatable recruiting processes that support growth.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — someone who can recruit today while also helping design the recruiting engine we’ll need for tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
? Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer negotiation and acceptance.
? Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs, define success profiles, and align hiring strategies.
? Help build and standardize recruiting workflows, interview practices, scorecards, and hiring processes to ensure consistency across teams.
? Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability as Hillendale grows.
? Develop repeatable hiring frameworks that enable the org to scale while maintaining a high bar for talent.
? Deliver a warm, transparent, and engaging experience for every candidate throughout the hiring journey.
? Maintain consistent communication and ensure candidates feel valued, respected, and informed.
? Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, talent databases, referrals, and other professional networks.
? Build talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles to support long-term growth.
? Develop creative strategies to attract high-performing talent in competitive markets.
? Utilize ATS, recruiting platforms, and talent analytics to optimize hiring outcomes.
? Track recruiting metrics and use insights to improve processes and outcomes over time.
? Stay current on recruiting technology and industry best practices to continuously enhance the function.
? Support employer branding efforts through outreach, networking, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
? Partner cross-functionally with HR and leadership to align hiring efforts with business goals.
? Support engagement and retention initiatives.
? Flex to support caregiver recruiting as needed.
? Manage the ATS system and maintain accurate hiring data.
Requirements:? Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
? Strong organizational and time management skills.
? Good verbal/written communication skills (in English language) with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, employees, managers, contractors, peers, and vendors.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
? Metrics driven approach to recruiting.
? Ability to present a professional appearance and behavior in accordance with Hillendale’s policies.
? Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is a plus.
? 3+ years of experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role.
? Experience as an ATS super user.

? This is a in office position located in our Walnut Creek office.
? This role pays $100,000k/Annual
? Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, handle, feel, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, balance, see with aid, identify colors, peripheral vision, hear with aid, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 20 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle.
? Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended and/or irregular hours and traveling by all possible modes of transportation.
? Equipment used in performing the essential job functions include but not limited to, computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, phone and vehicles. Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed, including but not limited to masks, gloves, and earplugs.
