Position: I-Prod Design Center Engineering Co-op (Fall 2026)
Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Academic Schedule: August to December 2026, full-time, 40 hours per week
About the Experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They will obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. Our top mechanical engineering and design professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pump design that includes mechanical design calculations and FEA.
- Work in our R&D Test Lab to assist with the assembly and disassembly of pumps, supporting various testing and development activities.
- Participate in design work for optional features related to development projects, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
- Analyze inspection reports and perform scan comparisons of cast/machined parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Candidate must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering/mechanical engineering technology or similar
- Candidate must have completed 2 years of related college coursework
- Must have an interest in supporting research and development and product engineering projects in a dynamic engineering environment
- MS Office and 3D modeling experience required
- FEA experience is preferred
