Compensation: Hiring range starts at $26.54 per hour, based on education, experience, certification, and internal equity
Status: Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do as an X-Ray Technologist Diagnostic Imaging-
Perform X-ray examinations to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Utilize proper positioning techniques to ensure accuracy and clarity of images.

Follow established imaging protocols and safety standards.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.

Explain procedures clearly and provide reassurance to promote patient comfort.

Ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.

Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.

Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.

Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support timely image interpretation.

Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures in the RIS and/or EHR systems.

Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.

Provide basic patient education regarding imaging procedures and pre-exam instructions.

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required
-
0–1 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred

Clinical radiographic experience from an AMA-accredited radiologic program preferred
-
Prior outpatient or clinic-based imaging experience preferred

Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required at time of hire

Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology

Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality

Knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging best practices

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within the clinic setting

Manual dexterity for equipment operation and patient positioning

Ability to lift and assist patients and handle clinical supplies

Visual acuity for patient assessment and accurate documentation

Primarily clinic-based setting with occasional travel to other clinical sites
-
Exposure to radiation with strict adherence to safety protocols

May participate in emergency or urgent imaging situations
-
Schedule flexibility based on patient and clinic needs
