Dog Boarding Lodging Staff at Dogwoods Lodge – Grimes, Iowa

ARE YOU AN ENERGETIC, POSITIVE PERSON SEEKING A CAREER WITH DOGS? The top-rated dog facility in the Midwest is now hiring permanent part-time and full-time canine professionals. Candidates must be motivated, detail-oriented, hard-working dog lovers who can handle plenty of physical labor. Duties include, but are not limited to: letting dogs outside and picking up after them, cleaning, laundry, feeding, administering medications, walking dogs, baths & nail trims, supervising dogs at play, etc.

Requirements:
Must love dogs.
Must uphold our high standard of care for the clients and dogs.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Shift times are 6:15 am-12:30 pm, 1:50 pm-6:30 pm, 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm, and 7:30 pm-11:00 pm.

Weekend availability is required. Full-time employees need to be able to work at least one shift both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend (and will have alternating weekends off). Part-time employees need to be able to work at least one shift both Saturday and Sunday every weekend. All employees must be able to work some holidays, as we are a 365 day/year business.

Starting wage until out of training: $11.50/hr. Training typically takes about 2-3 weeks.
Once out of training, wage will increase to $13.50/hr.
At 3 months of employment, you will begin to receive tips from the tip pool collection through your paycheck and be eligible for a performance-based raise.
