The ideal Certified Dental Assistant for our team will be highly motivated to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

SCHEDULE:

• 29-35 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday
• 1-2 Saturdays a month

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Certified Level II program
• NDAEB Completion Required
• IPAC certified and WHMIS certified is an asset but not required
• HARP and CPR certified
• 1- 2 years of experience is required
• Registered with the following:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• Experience with dental practice management software such as [AbelDent] is considered an asset
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
