About This Position

Titanium Ford is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting/Deal Processing Clerk to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the dealership’s accounting operations by ensuring vehicle transactions, financial records, and dealership schedules are processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a solid understanding of accounting processes within a dealership environment.

Role Summary:

The Accounting Clerk provides administrative and financial support within the Accounting Department, ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This role supports day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries, while working closely with the Controller to ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Processing
  • Post and record vehicle sales transactions in the dealership management system.
  • Process and track vehicle purchase transactions.
  • Accurately calculate and record sales commissions.
  • Ensure all deal documentation is complete and properly recorded.
Accounts Payable
  • Post supplier invoices and maintain accurate payable records.
  • Prepare cheque and electronic funds transfer (EFT) payment runs.
  • Assist with accounts payable reconciliation and documentation.
Accounting & Reconciliation
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Complete schedule reconciliations as part of monthly accounting procedures.
  • Assist with month-end processes and reporting.

Warranty Administration Support

  • Process and submit monthly warranty remittances.
  • Ensure warranty transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous accounting or dealership accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with PBS dealership management software is considered a strong asset.
