Role Overview
Ballers is seeking a Marketing Manager to support and manage the execution of marketing strategies across digital, in-venue, and promotional channels. This role will help drive brand growth, member engagement, event promotion, and revenue-generating initiatives through organized campaign management and digital oversight. The Marketing Manager will serve as a key operator within the marketing team, helping ensure campaigns are planned, executed, and optimized effectively.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like

Campaign Management + Execution
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across membership, events, athletics, and F&B.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to align messaging, assets, and timelines.
• Manage campaign rollouts across email, web, social, and in-venue placements.
• Track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Copywriting + Editorial Insight
• Draft, edit, and refine copy across email, website, promotional materials, and in-venue communications.
• Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging across all channels.
• Ensure clarity, tone alignment, and quality control before campaigns launch.
• Collaborate with creative team members to bring campaigns to life visually and verbally.
• Provide editorial review and guidance to maintain high standards of communication.
Digital Marketing + Channel Oversight
• Oversee email marketing strategy and execution, including segmentation, automation, and reporting.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, and promotional placements.
• Maintain quality control and brand consistency across all digital channels.
• Support CRM management and audience segmentation initiatives.
Communications Planning
• Own and maintain the master marketing communications calendar.
• Ensure proper sequencing and prioritization of campaigns.
• Align messaging across departments to maintain clarity and cohesion.
• Anticipate scheduling conflicts or messaging gaps and proactively resolve them.
Marketing Ops & Team Leadership
• Help refine marketing workflows and internal processes.
• Maintain campaign checklists, trackers, and reporting dashboards.
• Support vendor and agency coordination as needed.
• Serve as a reliable day-to-day marketing lead when VP of Marketing is out.
• Bring ideas for process improvement, growth opportunities, and innovation.

Skills & Qualifications
– 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing.
– Strong copywriting and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail and tone.
– Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels.
– Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and CMS systems.
– Strong organizational and project management skills.
– Analytical mindset with comfort reviewing performance metrics.
– Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
– Experience in sports, hospitality, lifestyle, or membership-based brands is a plus.
– Know your way around CRM and basic office software; bonus points if you're good with data
– You're an energetic team player who delivers awesome guest experiences with that genuine "Baller" hospitality
– You thrive when things are moving fast and can juggle priorities
– You're okay working nights, weekends, and holidays
– Knowing a bit about pickleball, padel, golf, soccer, or squash is a plus!
