The team at Queen Street Dental Centre located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

Queen Street Dental Centre is nestled in the wonderful community of Leslieville in downtown Toronto, providing the full spectrum of dental services. We are a family-oriented multi-disciplinary dental office and a friendly and collaborative team. We are excited to welcome a new member to help our practice grow and thrive!

We are looking for a HARP-certified Level 2 chairside dental assistant to join our team. Your schedule will include both chairside assisting and floating.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Assisting our associate general dentists chairside
• Room turnover
• Instrument reprocessing using SterilWize scanning system

Our newly renovated and expanded office is located on Queen Street East in the Leslieville neighbourhood of Toronto.

SCHEDULE:

• 34.5 hours per week
• 4-5 Days of the week
  • Monday 8-4
  • Tuesday 8-3
  • Wednesday 2-8
  • Thursday 2-8
  • Friday off
  • Saturdays 8-3 every other

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• NDAEB Completion Required
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• New graduates welcome
• Experience with dental practice management software such as [Abeldent] is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
